Nelson Cepeda

Nelson joined the Hammond team in 2022 as a Mechanical Design Engineer. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. Nelson has an extensive background in taking projects from inception to development and being present every step of the way. He has the ability to analyze complex issues, establish priorities, develop procedures, and effectively solve problems using Six Sigma DMAIC principles and methodologies while complying with industry standards and codes.

He is experienced in HVAC Systems, 3D Modeling, Revit, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, Fusion 360, CFD, and BIM Management. He also achieved L.E.E.D. Silver Certification status.

In his spare time, Nelson loves to spend time with family and friends, while continuing his pursuit of making a positive, lasting impact on the AEC industry.
