Port Everglades Terminal 25
The 150,000 SF expansion of Terminal 25 is for the accommodation of the Celebrity Edge cruise line. This project was designed using Revit. Existing Terminals 22, 24 and Building 21A were demolished to make room for the improvements to Terminal 25 curbside frontage in order to optimize the ground transportation area. The intent is to provide more efficient baggage drop off during embarkation and quicker passenger loading during debarkation. As part of the cruise facility improvement, U.S. Customs and Border Protection federal inspections services will be developed within the Terminal. Solutions to passenger boarding to Terminal 25 and two mobile elevated gangways were provided. Construction Cost $85M.
